To file for a home exemption, simply go to:
Click "File a Homeowners Exemption" and follow the prompts. You'll need the Parcel ID/Tax Map Key. If you need your Parcel ID or would like us to check to make sure you've got an existing exemption in place, simply email me at shaila@hawaiihe.com. Once you complete your home exemption application, it's also a good idea to call the real property assessors office at (808) 768-3799 to verify that it was received and looks okay.
